Tom and Sandy have been shagging in the Sandhills for the past 6 years. Both are current members of the competitive Shaggers Association (CSA) and have been competing since 1997. They currently compete in the Novice Division. They are active members of the Sanford Area Society of Shaggers and Chatham Area Shag Association.
They presently teach shag lessons at Central Carolina Community College and at the Sanford VFW Post. Dancing has become more than just a hobby for this couple; it is a part of their life.
Tom and Sandy will be giving shag lessons on Thursday Nights at the VFW starting the first Thursday in January. This is a great opportunity to learn everything from the "Basic" to the "Competition" steps in shag dances. Please support Sandy & Tom, you'll have a great time.
